Kendall was quite the entertainer today for Dr. Nordby. She was grabbing her feet, rolling side to side, smiling and showing off her hand eye coordination. Dr. Nordby was highly impressed with Kendall’s development and said some of the things she was doing, she hasn’t seen 7 month olds be able to do.
I was holding Kendall on my left hip as I was talking to the doctor and had the pacifier in my right hand. Kendall reached out for the pacifier and brought it back to her mouth. It was a little bit crooked but she was manipulating it into her mouth the best way she could. Dr. Nordby said, “does your baby know she’s only 4 months old and not grown yet?” It made me chuckle although at the same time somewhat sad. I know she is growing and doing new things every day and I don’t want her to get too smart too fast. She will forever be my little baby!Kendall doesn’t mind being on the scale for the short time it takes to get her weight. As you can see, she was watching closely to see what the nurse was doing. She never wants to miss anything. She was even somewhat still while the nurse moved the scale weights. Kendall received two shots today, one in each leg and one orally. She handled them ALL like a champ!!
