West Farm…with Jack and Sam
West Farm is always such a fun time. This year we are going twice and I can’t wait. I didn’t get good pictures of the animals since so I tried to do better with the pumpkins. I love pumpkins!
Picture after picture, I could not get one that wasn’t blurry or blog worthy but this is the best I could get. Daddy was out of town so we didn’t get a fall family photo this time.
I promise they enjoyed the hay ride but it sure was hot!
This year, there was a new giant tire-sand castle-slide that was a huge hit. Kendall and Jack were princess and prince of the mountain for a bit. These two couldn’t get enough of all the sand.
Or the slide…
The corn box was a lot of fun for Kendall, Jack and Sam, although Ethan wasn’t too sure. Excuse his ragamuffin look, he wasn’t feeling quite himself.
I took some pictures with my phone but nothing compared to my sister’s that she took with her nice camera. Please see her blog for a bigger selection, there is a video and two posts. Thanks for taking all the great pictures, as usually, Seester!!

Michigan trip – Part Two
There is no rhyme or reason to all of the pictures I took in Michigan so here is the rest of them from our trip. We were here and there every day. We went to a wedding shower, a book store, an ice cream parlor, read books, played in pj’s and just plan made the most of our trip. I miss those days so much! Thank you to all of my Michigan and Tennessee family for making our trip so fun…as always! There is a life sized doll house in the courtyard of my grandmother’s complex and I do believe Kendall had her eye on it all week. We finally made our way to it and Kendall had so much fun!

Palm Sunday
Wow! What a difference a year makes. We celebrated Palm Sunday like we did last year, with family and an egg hunt. Ryan had to travel to North Carolina for work so he missed the egg hunt again. During the church service, Kendall, Emory and Sullivan were part of the group of children that helped to carry palm branches to the front of the church. Kendall held Lindy’s hand and followed the rest of the crowd. She wasn’t sure what to think but didn’t make a peep. Way to go big girl!Sullivan helped Kendall with the egg hunting when the eggs were hidden extra good or in hard to reach places. Thanks Sullivan! Kendall had a blast finding eggs and was so proud of each and every egg in her basket.
I think Sullivan counted twenty one eggs in Kendall’s basket.
Look at that happy girl and her cousins.
Love Ethan’s face. Looks like he’s checking out Kendall’s sucker.
My face is a little hidden but I love this picture of my and my first born!

Random fall photos
Soooo, since I missed posting our October fun, I’m doing it now…all at once. Enjoy!!
We went to the fair for the second year, and Kendall LOVED it. She did not want to get off of the carousel and had so much fun petting ALL of the animals. She even fed a few, by her choice.
We rode an elephant and of course she had to touch it too. She patted him nicely on his back.
It was so much fun to experience the fair through my baby girl’s eyes. She took it all in and I can’t wait to go back again next year. Kendall also wanted her own bag of cotton candy before we left, although I should have said no being that she only ate some of the pink and was done.
And here is lil’ miss in her Halloween outfit. Not really a costume but good enough for this year. We tried just three times to take a picture with her witch mask she colored in school. LOVE IT!
I almost forgot to add in our zoo trip. I wanted to take Kendall to Boo at the Zoo but the timing didn’t work out to stay until the festivities began. We made it there in time to see a few animals before all of the trick or treating started and we had a blast.
I took some pictures of the animals we saw (monkeys, flamingos, koi) and some in the aquarium exhibit but they didn’t really turn out to be blog worthy. Here are a few that did.
I’m hoping next time we make it to the zoo there will be more animals to see and I will have more camera participation from Miss Occupied. Most of the animals were “sleeping” to prepare the zoo for all of the kiddos to trick or treat.

Isle of Palms
Michelle and the boys came down from Columbia today to spend a day at the beach. It was Kendall’s second time on the beach but her first time to really play and get used to the sand and water. She hung out with Sam under the umbrella for a while until she got used to everything. Once she explored some more, she was a pro. You would have thought she had been before. She had so much fun playing in the sand and running through the water.
Look at my sweet nephews and their momma! Check out my sister’s beach day blog.
These two were too funny to watch. It was a game of monkey see, monkey do at some points.
Kendall had an absolute blast being tossed in the air by daddy. She went back for more a few times and wore daddy out. Yes, she looks pretty high but she was in safe hands!
I can’t wait for the next trip to the beach. I know Kendall will run to meet the waves.

Here fishy, fishy
I decided last night, that tomorrow was as good of a time as any to take Kendall to the aquarium for her second visit. We met up with Aunt Mollie and Sullivan and Emory. The last time we went she was such a baby and not really aware of what she was seeing. This time was completely different. She explored each exhibit and could even name some of the animals that we saw. “Fishy,” “sna(ke)” (which she touched poked), “shar(k)” and she even gave her best at octopus which was more like ah-pu. Too cute!We stopped at the exhibit with stingrays, crabs, horse shoe crabs and a few other swimmy creatures. Kendall and Emory enjoyed watching the blue crab walk sideways. Sweet girls!
“Ah-pu” pictures with Sullivan!
Kendall was impressed with so many things but I loved seeing her just stare as the fish swam near her. These pictures are of some of my favorite tanks at the aquarium, especially the middle one.
Some aquarium residents
And just because you can’t go to the aquarium without taking these pictures. Kendall would not sit next to the frog for the picture I really wanted.
I think someone had a really good time. Can’t wait for the next trip!
